To commemorate the 50th year since Winston Churchill’s passing, Greene King created a limited edition ale, and we were tasked with giving it a fitting personality. Working closely with Winston Churchill Memorial Trust and Greene King, we created and printed a suite of point of sale used across the Greene King estate, selling over 181,000 pints in 3 months. It became Greene King’s 4th best-selling cask ale of the period, outselling favourites such as Old Speckled Hen, Old Golden Hen, and Tim Taylor Landlord, and 25p of every pint sold – a total of £45,000 – went to the Churchill Memorial Trust.
